Performance engineering

Will do:
* Characterizing
* Documentation
* Measuring performance
- Should have Networking experience
- Probably have Storage experience
- Some development experience helpful
– C++, Java, Automation, Python helpful, but not required
*Team Leader, Performance Engineering*
* The person filling this position will be responsible for
characterizing and measuring real-time storage systems.
* The performance engineering team is responsible for producing
accurate statistics based on exploratory test results.
* These results will be used to define application capabilities
and predictable file system scalability.
* The individual will interface with various engineering and test
groups as well as marketing, sales and customer support to
deliver the most accurate product solutions.
* Responsibilities also include tool development and/or scripting
for automation testing.
*Requirements:*
* 6-8 years formal software and/or hardware test expertise
* Experience with SAN/NAS solutions. Experience includes system
integration and testing of end-to-end solutions.
* Python or Perl scripting and automation testing experience
highly desired.
* Programming (C++, Java) a plus.
* Proficiency in Windows (XP and Win2K), OSX and Linux is required.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent
communication and writing skills.
* BSCS or equivalent.
