Hello

No its nor working and i tried the pkg-get in main terminal only that was not chroot.

bash-3.00# source /etc/default_env.sh
bash: /etc/default_env.sh: No such file or directory

default_env.sh is specific to BeleniX. I thought you are doing this in the LiveCD
  proto chroot environment.

In that case what system are you using ? Can you send the output of: uname -a ?

On the Qt issue its not working with this :-

I am trying to install kaptain on belenix which requires qt.

>>>
./configure --prefix=/usr/foss --enable-shared --disable-static

getting this as the error in the last lines.

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.1.0) (headers) not found. Please check your installation!

I do not get this. BeleniX comes with Qt3.3.5 pre-installed. Is this a harddisk installed BeleniX ? Can you send me the config.log file as an attachment ?

How ever when i run try to install the same in the main shell where i have recently installed Qt from Trolltech i get one additional errors.

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.1.0) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!

here libraries are also not found

I have /usr/local/Trolltech/Qt-4.1.4/ as my prefix

You have installed Qt4 while the software requires Qt3.

Sir I am very much looking into this sincerely. I need your guidance at earliest as my project is lagging behind.

Yes. As I said lets discuss this off-list.

Regards,
Moinak.

Regards

Abhishek

I guess you are trying this in chroot environment. I'd suggest
    you to
    execute the
       following, prior to pkg-get.

       /usr/bin/bash
       source /etc/default_env.sh
