No. Solaris 10 is unrelated to Solaris Express. Solaris 10 is the release prior to Open Solaris. Solaris Express is Sun's distribution of the current Open Solaris tree. There are other distributions available (Nexenta, Belenix, Schillix). > Or is there one more version: > > Solaris Express (without Community Edition) There are two versions of Solaris Express (SX). Regular SX is intended for most users and is the one for which you can buy a support contract. SX-CR is a build-of-the-moment intended specifically for those who are doing their own Open Solaris builds. You must be running Solaris to build Solaris. We don't have a cross- compilation environment yet. You can get more information here: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/about/distributions/ > Which one does this refer to? > > http://dlc.sun.com/osol/on/downloads/ Neither. Those are the nightly and bi-weekly ON consolidation builds. -- James Carlson, KISS Network <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sun Microsystems / 1 Network Drive 71.232W Vox +1 781 442 2084 MS UBUR02-212 / Burlington MA 01803-2757 42.496N Fax +1 781 442 1677 _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
