I've used acpi_user_options 0x2 > and 0x8, and I'm trying 0x4 currently, but so far none have had any effect. If S10 1/06 works, S10 6/06 with acpi-user-options=0x8 is equivalent. S10 6/06 *does* put the system in "ACPI mode" by default, a change from S10 1/06, but you've already tried acpi-user-options=0x8. > I've also tried disabling legacy USB support, and toggling "ACPI-aware > OS" on and off. Again, no effect. I believe Jean-François Ndi is correct in suggesting trying the workaround for 6391605: Add the following line to /etc/system and reboot: set cpu\.AuthenticAMD\.15:ao_scrub_rate_dram = 0 This disables scrubbing of DRAM, but leaves scrubbing of data cache and L2 cache enabled.
