Hi,
I had implemented a JXTA plugin for Gaim to support group chat based on
JXTA[1][2] technology, to be more specific, MyJxta[3] group chat.
It is not perfect but is ready to use, and I am looking forward to use
it as basis to add more collaborative features can be offered by JXTA.
A few top off my head are:
1. Virtual VPN(through socket tunneling)
2. Skype like audio(/video) chat
3. File sharing between peers
As I developed and tested this plugin on Solaris, which runs my laptop,
I wonder if this would be interesting to have a project in
OpenSolaris.org to experiment different kind of applications based on JXTA.
Any comments, ideas are welcome.
