This looks *real* familiar and seems to be a config problem.  Not sure
unless we get some details.

Can you join up the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailist and we will sort you
right out in no time at all.  I run PostgreSQL 8.1.4 here in both 64-bit
mode and 32-bit mode in a few zones and its runs _real_ smooth.  I even have
Drupal running with Apache 2.2.3 and PostgreSQL 8.1.4 at the backend with
PHP5 in the middle.  So I think you may have a config issue there.

Can you drop a message into the users maillist please ?

Also, in order to help people better I'll post the mailist info onto the
Blastwave homepage.  Clearly that is info hidden from plain sight.
