Thanks for the complement! I've read, from cover to cover, "The Magic Garden
Explained", "Solaris Internals" (1st edition; haven't started on the 2-volume
2nd edition yet), "The Design of the UNIX OS" (by M Bach), "The Design of the
4.3 BSD OS" (M McKusick et al), plus a few more heavy weights ("UNIX Frontiers"
and the Dragon book are also in my "to read" pile). I've yet to read SSP
from cover to cover, but I read it umpteen times while I was writing it, so I
may never do so!
Re-reading that paragraph, I think one thing is clear: I need to get out a bit
more. :-)
