Hello all,

I have been working with others in the zones community for the past few years on a personal project called the Zone Manager. The Zone'
Manager is a bash shell script named zonemgr that is used to greatly
simplify Solaris 10 zone creation and management from a command line
interface perspective. I like to think of the Zone Manager as a general purpose tool that should enable 90% of all zones management
operations through a single simple command line.

My long term goal has been to make the Zone Manager an official
OpenSolaris project. I have been asked to make this an independent
project at the following URL:

I have no issue with this being an OpenSolaris project, however personally the first couple of lines of your man page make it look to me much more complex than zonecfg/zoneadm but that is just first impressions and I'm quite familiary with zonecfg/zoneadm and don't actually find them hard to use. That is just my opinion though.

What is the ultimate goal here, to get zonemgr integrated into Solaris to replace/complement zonecfg/zoneadm ? Or just use OpenSolaris as a place to share ? Either way I'm fine with this being an OpenSolaris project but I'm curious.

Neither a +1 or -1 just comments.
