There are a number of bugs marked as duplicates, eg:

  * http://bugs.opensolaris.org/view_bug.do?bug_id=6484330
  * http://bugs.opensolaris.org/view_bug.do?bug_id=6414868

However, the bug tracking tool doesn't say what they are duplicates of.

This implies that:

  * The bugs are NOT duplicates; or
  * The bug tool doesn't allow one to link the Original Bug (tm) to the
    duplicate

You forgot:

    * b.o.o. still loses a bunch of stuff in translation from the
underlying database.

the underlying database has a "duplicate of" field which must be filled
in before you can close a bug as a duplicate.

Just FTR,
6484330 is a dup of 6489148
6414868 is a dup of 6333181

bugs.opensolaris.org used to show this information, perhaps it got lost during the refresh? (it also included the duplicated bug in Related CRs, so you maybe able to hunt it down that way, for now).

I'd say if this information is now missing, that's a bug in the b.o.o refresh and needs to be reported as such.
