Is the BeleniX KDE gui suppose to have some sort of influence
on Solaris in general?
I'd say no -- at least not yet. The thing that positions an app (not just
KDE but any top open-source app) to influence Solaris is when someone (Sun
or non-Sun of course) makes it a project and designs an integration plan
for it.
