Firstly, apologies for posting a non-OpenSolaris question here! The company I work for is migrating its main UNIX server from Solaris 2.6 to 9 and we would like, if at all possible, to preserve users passwords, since we would prefer to keep any disruption to our users to a minimum. Is there any way to either migrate the passwords directly, or alternatively decode the old password file so we can input them manually?
