are still not public.
The problem is the comments section was not just used for commenting
on bugs, but for 10 years was explicitly designated as the place to
list information that Sun must keep confidential, for its own business
reasons, to honor customer's privacy, or to comply with licenses or laws
covering Sun, so it's not as simple as just saying "we should open it" -
opening existing comments will require scrubbing thousands of bugs manually,
and opening new comments will require adding a way to flag which comments
can be published. Neither one is simple or quick.
