I have a slightly unusual setup that allows me to dual boot between Windows XP
and Solaris (currently SXCR build 53) by going into the BIOS setup and changing
the boot device. My main disk, which is for Windows XP, is a RAID 0 array on a
Silicon Image 3112A SATA controller on the motherboard. Unfortunately, since
Solaris doesn't work with this particular controller (and probably wouldn't
support the RAID 0 mode anyway) I installed a PATA drive for Solaris, which I
boot Solaris from directly. I normally boot from the RAID 0 SATA array by
selecting the boot device in the BIOS setup as "SCSI". To boot Solaris I change
this to "hdd-0". How can I set my system up so that in either grub or the
Windows XP boot manager I can select the other OS and boot from it? In other
words: remove the need to change the system's boot device in the BIOS.

Thanks

Andrew.
