Not entirely correct - the Mozilla Foundation (now Corporation) decided to
stop working on the Mozilla suite, however the community picked it up and

Right - I knew that (and have in fact advocated internally we replace
Mozilla 1.7 with SeaMonkey 1.0 for our Solaris 10 deliveries of Mozilla),
but worded my response badly. In any case, spending Sun resources on two
browsers for the same OS is not something management feels is a worthwhile
use of time.
