Hi All, I would like to ask to you how i can configure tape library without using st.conf. Actually one backup server is already installed and configured with LP-10000S solaris qualified card. The tradition for me to see library that i am checking and configuring st.conf for respected LUNs. Actually on this Solaris 9 machine, st.conf is empty and system is seeing all devices properly. This configuration is done by previous sun admin. He is saying that It is specific for new cards. Actually i could not find which files are configured to see tape devices under /dev/rmt. Anyway, he is saying that this is physical binding instead of st.conf.
