Solaris already has some sort of IPP support, and the printers companies such as HP, LexMark, Epson, Xerox and others support IPP this would be a plus for Open Solaris and Solaris users, in making a System admin job a lot easier and raise client satisfaction and JDS would benefit in ease of client use! But if Project Proposal: PRESTO - Automatic Printing ends up with a website a few pages will be needed for Kernel and network trouble shooting tips , such as Client side support for communicating with IPP based print servers that go beyond the man pages!
