I have played with almost every release since SXCR44. Release 55 is so refreshingly different from all previous releases, the most pertinent "change log" IMO probably should contain three simple words: "Just try it!" Stacey Marshall has started a blog on installing and tweaking SXCR55: http://blogs.sun.com/ace/category/Solaris Of course I am not qualified to comment on this, but my initial impression after installing release 55 is that SUN is making a bold statement inviting the world at large to explore the vast opportunities the OpenSolaris development community has to offer--and join it. This is a very welcoming message. This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
