Without quoted material, it's hard to tell what you might be responding to, but at a guess, it's the suggestion to "boot with the debugger." Plugging this into google.com gives some useful documentation hits: site:docs.sun.com kernel debugging I've scanned around through the various archives, and I don't see any information about what sort of system you might be running -- only that you tried S10 and had some sort of problem. It's probably going to be difficult for others to come up with useful suggestions without some details. One way to attack this (besides finding out how to use the debugger) would be to scan the HCL (hardware compatibility list) for other people using the same hardware you're using, or at least similar hardware, and find out what's been written about it. The HCL is here: http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/ -- James Carlson, Solaris Networking <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sun Microsystems / 1 Network Drive 71.232W Vox +1 781 442 2084 MS UBUR02-212 / Burlington MA 01803-2757 42.496N Fax +1 781 442 1677 _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
