I have read many comments (not all comments!) and I have noticed as there is
something escapes understanding to me (and not only to me). Ok, GPLv3 is still
a draft and nothing will be definite until we won't see it complete, however
something it doesn't understand.I am convinced that for every project and for
every goal of this project, there is a better license to apply it ,so I believe
at this point not to know what is exactly OpenSolaris community.

1) Is it an independent FOSS project born to maintain and extend sources of
Solaris with the goal to realize a generic Unix system for every market?

2) Or,is it a sponsored project by Sun with the goal to maintain and extend
sources of Solaris to take more scope and market but driven by Sun?

Many philosophical and technical problems could be born from its ambiguity (if
it exist).I am not in every FOSS developer's head but, I have a suspect that an
important project tied up with a corporation should not be very interesting for
many and many reasons. So,can GPLv3 change the situation and push OpenSolaris
community to grow more fast?
I don't know but I'm sure that it's the time to clarify some aspects and to
exactly know who we are and where to go.
