I booted and ran latest release of Belenix fine on my ICH8 chipset. The same 
chipset that has been sporadic on several linux livecd's. I was quite shocked 
to see my machine boot fine with Belenix. Can't speak for SX specifically 
though, but it being based on later Opensolaris release I don't see how it 
would change or if Belenix did something special.

I have a Intel ICH8 Q965 chipset in my Optiplex 745.

Network chip didn't work though..  {sigh}
