Absolutely. I feel we need this type of software, yet at the same time see it as a double edge sword. I was considering running some PHP software on a public site, but now I'm not sure. Anyone in the community that really works with PHP on a regular basis and can comment on how they handle the security issues and/or updates? It is my understanding that many modules will not compile on different releases of PHP.
