First, to boot into the 32-bit kernel (per Casper's instruction): change the grub commands to (pressing "e" during grub boot): kernel /platform/i86pc/kernel/unix module /platform/i86pc/boot_archive Second, as to Alanc's (single-line) svccfg tutorial: svccfg -s x11-server setprop options/server=/usr/X11/bin/i386/Xorg as per: http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=24027&tstart=0 Build 59 is very experimental, & I don't recommend anyone to "use" it for productive work. However, it really feels good to see the proprietary nVidia driver being legitimately included in (or integrated with) the kernel--perhaps we are beginning to see the advantage of CDDL.
