BTW, the reason why I prefer the dvd image is this: I never burn any
SXCR disk, I just use lofiadm and set up an install server (sparc/sparc
case).
This does not work with the CD.iso's - with the current implementation
of lofiadm - as the current lofiadm only pre-mounts one slice from a
given iso.
And I apparently cannot specify which one to chose.
In case of the CD.iso files the important parts (boot image) are not
accessible with lofiadm, as they are on a different slice, than the one
being pre-mounted.
On DVD.iso it does work as expected.
I never burned any Solaris CD or DVD since Solaris Express came out in
September 2003
(with the exception of the various distro's LiveMEDIA) .
Sorry, I didn't try to enhance lofiadm so far, as there is always a
DVD.iso available.
But it might be a good target.
