The aim of the project is to build a cryptosystem with a USB token to save
the keys. But current USB tokens on market do not support ECC (Elliptic
Curve Cryptography), which is needed in our project. So we buy a USB
token hardware and write our own firmware. But the firmware is (maybe) not
compatible with current standards, and default driver maybe not work.

2007/4/3, Darren J Moffat <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

What is the USB token driver that you talk about in your email ?

Solaris already has support for talking to USB mass storage devices and
USB smartcards via the PC/SC API. So what kind of token is this ?

It still isn't actually clear to me what it is you are proposing in that
part.

While I welcome the ideas I'm not sure how yet this fits with OpenSolaris.

I'd highly suggest we have some discussion in the security community
about the problems you are trying to solve and refine the proposal there.

 OK
