This is great news! Thank you. Ported GNU Parted should speed up porting of various Linux-only installers to OpenSolaris-based distros. I'm thinking about NexentaOS, where we could benefit from libparted and make full port of Debian installer.. If anyone interested to start this effort, please contact me offline to coordinate.
