Flash only works on Single User Workstations any way.
As soon as we try to implement a terminal Server environment
regardless of if its Sun Rays on Solaris or PC's accessesing
MS Terminal Servers, you can very quickly use up all the cpu power
of the servers with 10 users browsing Flash Heavy websites.

We have two Newspaper websites in Sweden that deploy 10 Flash
advertising "movies" each on their homepages.

If Flash is going to be usable it needs to be a lot less CPU Heavy.
and as you say it needs to use SIMD instructions one each platform.
Does Flash use SSE2 / 3DNOW instructions on X86/AMD64 platforms ?
Can we push Adobe to use SIMD instructions ?
