Hi guys,
I tried to install the atheros driver following the instructions of this driver
but I had some problems:
I got the ID of the device
[b]
bash-3.00# prtconf -vp | grep pci168
compatible: 'pci168c,1a.1468.418.1' + 'pci168c,1a.1468.418' +
'pci1468,418' + 'pci168c,1a.1' + 'pci168c,1a' + 'pciclass,020000' +
'pciclass,0200
[/b]
Then I used the update_drv command, but I shows that ath driver is not
installed:
[b]bash-3.00# update_drv -a -i '"pci168c,1a,1468.418.1"' ath
Driver (ath) not installed.[/b]
If I tried to add ath driver, output show me:
[b]
bash-3.00# add_drv ath
(ath) already in use as a driver or alias.[/b]
Anyway I installed the package ath0.5 but it sent an error:
[b]## Installing part 1 of 1.
[ verifying class <none> ]
## Executing postinstall script.
(ath) already in use as a driver or alias.
Failed add_drv ath!
pkgadd: ERROR: postinstall script did not complete successfully
Installation of <SUNWatheros> failed.
[/b]
Do You know how install this driver correctly?
