Maybe things are being overcomplicated here. Partly because of the official
documentation, and partly because of the strange branding involved. All
because the OpenSolaris project is a work in progress having some growing pains.
Solaris 10, Solaris Express Developer Edition, and Solaris Express Community
Edition are all Sun operating systems.
OpenSolaris is Solaris code that Sun has made open source.
