Those are some of the brightest people in computer science on the planet. I seriously doubt they can't find other employment. That said, I've been a member of the *Solaris* community before most people even knew what Internet is, and consider myself to be a "native". This is my "home". And normally, when I come to someone's home, I at least wipe my feet before I enter.
