Because Linux has eaten solaris' lunch for the last 10 years, and it's
because sun and the other unix vendors have walked away from the lunch
table.

For starters, as a good-will gesture to sun systems managers, how
about sun taking time to focus on making sunsolve reachable 99.9% of
the time?  How are you going to convince people that you've got a
reliable stable platform when they can't get into your support web
site?
