I wasn't able to capture the error message passed when the system panicked and was able to only capture the following:
udfs: Not Tag location mismatch blockno 3803c........... but I believe it was pointing to my /var After running fsck as suggested the system boots up cleanly and I don't have a problem with any further panics. I know that the cause of the panic is a result of me modifying my vfstab to define my new metadevices. Is there a process that I need to follow that will prevent the system from panicking or is this expected/harmless? I was told that it's harmless and possibly just a result of a log in var being written to before the reboot, but I want to make sure this will not have a long term effect. Thx!
