Taking a step back, though, I see that the Local User Group concept is showing its age in the tiny digital flat world we live in.
It's ever more relevant, a necessary counterpoint to the unidimensional, almost autistic digital universe. I know I am going to drag my asocial butt to Santa Clara this Thursday. Surely some attendees will blog about it and pass on the most interesting bits. No need to bug Alan, he's doing a heck of a job.
