A Solaris patch is in essence just a sparse package. If that's the case, the way I see it based on your reasoning, you basically have three options: a) you go to Windows, and forget about all of this b) you stick with Linux c) you give Solaris a chance and really, truly learn it. If c) is not an option for you, I guess you still have a) and b) to choose from 'till the cows come home. And I still don't understand, why is learning Solaris such a big deal? What's the problem?
