Differentiate between language, platform (and then, especially, its implementation) and api. Fluent in JAVA? You may find, that the language itself is quite compact and has many similarities to C and C++. The platform api makes things a bit more complex (and enriching). That's what the javadoc created platform documentation is for, so there is no need to memorize the whole API syntax. It looks difficult on the first two days, makes then more sense from day to day. And the other thing from last week, do you really believe a Ph.D. (in CS or Maths) istn't worth the paper it is written on??? And that those "are not educated in anything" ? Interesting. _______________________________________________ opensolaris-discuss mailing list [email protected]
