I would think that's the entire point of an OGB. There's no way to
cripple OpenSolaris as fast as requiring all decisions go to a community
wide vote, adding months to the process, and resulting in so many
community wide votes that voter turnout drops to near zero in most of them.
That isn't what I said, I merely pointed out that decisions which affect
the entire community are supposed to be ratified by the entire
community, as laid out in the constitution. Of course it is right and
proper for the OGB to carry out its mandate, but making decisions which
affect fundamental aspects of the OpenSolaris community such as the
process by which projects come into existence is clearly *not* it's mandate.
If you have a beef, it is with the constitution, not me.
