That would be great. And if that isn't what Ian's crew is looking for, both could happen. Nothing stopping group x from doing that and group y from doing Project Indiana. PS: This is a small community, but there are a lot of different beliefs floating around. I think Ian is going to have to leave some people behind to move forward. If this thread was to build a product using round table discussion, it would not be a great success. I guess that is Debian's problem. I'm a big believer in strong vision and leadership driving product development forward. Whether driving toward success of failure, sooner or later Ian and his supporters will need to make their vision a reality, regardless of what everyone else is doing. At some point I think he needs to say "we don't need more talk of why this project shouldn't exist. We only need talk of how to make this project the best."
