I'm considering making a small home file server to store media. I'm pretty
experienced with Windows and Linux systems, but have never used Solaris before.
ZFS is just too cool to pass up though, so I'd like to learn. =)

Here are my questions:

* Does RAID-Z have a RAID-5 type mode? That is to say, a mode where you lose 1
drive worth of total capacity but can tolerate 1 drive failing? What about a
RAID-6 type mode?
* For cost reasons, I'd like to get a motherboard with integrated graphics.
Which integrated graphics chipsets does OpenSolaris support? Any other hardware
compatibility issues I should watch out for?
* Can I get Samba running on OpenSolaris?

Any suggestions, cautions, etc. are welcome. Don't really know what I'm doing
here, but from what I've read OpenSolaris looks like a great way to go for my
little project. Thanks in advance for your help and advice!
