The BioAPI is intended to provide a high-level generic biometric
authentication model. Currently we just support fingerprint in Solaris.
We don't have to port such a big model to Solaris since libfpr can
handle everything well. And libfpr is designed to be easily wrapped by
BioAPI. After BioAPI 2.0 is mature and more biometric technology is
supported by Solaris, it can be considered to port BioAPI to Solaris.
Thanks.
