A couple of months ago, Mark (on behalf of the C-Team, I believe) suggested reorganising the ON community, onnv project, and associated mailing lists.

http://mail.opensolaris.org/pipermail/opensolaris-discuss/2007-April/027086.html

Whatever happened with this? Should we go ahead and implement the changes suggested?

The reason I ask is with the advent of [EMAIL PROTECTED], and the move to make [EMAIL PROTECTED] a mandatory subscription for all registered users; the OGB would like to move project delivery announcements (e.g.: ON b67 is now available!) off of opensolaris-announce, and onto project/community-specific discussion lists.

Our only current ON list is onnv-notify, which is for putback notifications and not really appropriate for these sorts of announcements. We could use the on-announce or possibly an on-discuss (as mentioned by Mark in the email) lists for these sorts of announcements.

cheers,
steve
