Why? How would you present the installation of that many packages? I'm still not sure that the people who want to "solve packaging" have determined what the right problem is to address. It's the layer on top of the tools which is missing; rewriting the packaging tools serves little purpose until we figure out what the layer on top should look like and what functionality it needs.
