No, you incorrectly assume that everybody gets mplayer from blastwave. I 
build mine from spec-files-extra and it works fine.

Maybe you should look at example 1 in the zonecfg 'Solaris' manual page. 
It is a Sun initiated kludge...

Well on my machine, I am the distro maintainer. Any package made by me 
is part of distro that I contribute to. Therefore I will write to /usr 
all day long and sleep well at nights.

I will not lose any sleep over it as it is only a minor issue. Nor 
should you.
