_PSS is not a software package. It defines the different power levels
supported by the CPU and the attributes associated with each power
level.
I think recent commit "4667: PSARC/2004/826 Opteron Athlon64 Frequency
Management" caused this issue. I'd like to find the root cause.

Which revision are you using?
