For me, I setup the machine to be non-networked then simply enabled nwam from svc - its a known issue for quite some time; many of the issues relating to the user add, network connectivity that never connects, nodenames that never actually register etc. are long standing issues. For me, I give up and just work around it rather than trying to battle the sh*t storm that is following up whether bugs actually get fixed.
