I always create a /export/home as a seaparate filesystem. Inever give a
user the ability to simply mkfile and take over all available space on the
root slice in the process.
For that matter, I tend to still make /var separate.
This however, is a bit complicated but okay if you are to make room for Sun
Studio compilers as well as room for optional software like the Blastwave
stuff or Lotus Notes or Oracle or whatever :
