The OpenSolaris CBE is effectively merged by SXDE - except that the recent
builds put the wrong version of Sun Studio in (they have Studio 12, where
the current CBE specifies Studio 11).

If you mean the JDS CBE, the JDS team is already working on that.
You can see some of their work in progress in the SFW mailing lists
(right now they're replacing the current versions of the GNU 
autoconf/automake/libtool with the versions they use in the JDS CBE).
