Ashwin,
Current OpenSolaris bits doesnot have virtual consoles, project
vconsole http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/vconsole/ is still under
development should be part of OpenSolaris sometime down the line . So if you
have to work on console then you need to select "Command line Login" , note
that if you d'nt login within 30secs it would fall back to "GUI" mode.
