Well there are media which uses it. For example, the Rev drive: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iomega_REV which is basically an enclosed hard disk case minus a motor, use UDF for its primary format. I mean, sure, it might be missing some featuers but there is nothing stopping the working group from addressing them in a constructive way. Matthew
