Ok,since I got me a bigger hard drive to go with the original 73 Gb one,I am
going to reinstall and have a question about partitioning.I come with a Mac OS
X background and whenever I install it I like to setup a small partition for
the OS and apps, and the rest for my home folder. What would be the best way to
do this using two identical size hard drives?I want to make sure that I will
have plenty of space left for OS patches and apps, while using zfs wherever
possible to optimize disk usage.
I was thinking of doing something like :
disk0 /20 Gb
           /swap 2112mb
           /opt 20 Gb
after which I would have about 30 Gb left on disk0 and all of 73 Gb in disk1
for my home folder. If this sounds feasible, how would I use what's left of disk0
and all of disk1 for my home folder, preferably using zfs?
By the way I have to say that this is a great forum with a lot of knowledgeable
people;I'm very glad I came here!
