I have 16MBits/sec downstream at home, for 14 months now. However, to get decent *upstream* bandwith, not even coming close to some synchronous link, is damn expensive :-( Fortunately enough don't I have to host my site by myself (thanks to Al Hopper). How much does your VDSL link offer in upwards direction? Maybe I will quit Alice-DSL where I currently am ... 16MBits/sec are so slow ;-) p.s. SDC allows downloading 3 files at once now, plus the DVD.iso.part[a-c] size has been increased to a bigger value (thus reduced the number of files required to obtain). This makes it possible to download a complete SXCR release in 25 minutes per platform (in theory less, but that's what I got yesterday evening).
