The latest development version of the opensolaris.org user management
webapp can be found at http://auth.opensolaris.org/. New in this
version is SSH key management for opensolaris.org user accounts - the
existing User SSH key management on OpenSolaris.org is a fairly frequent
source of complaints, this new app attempts to improve the situation.
SSH keys can be uploaded directly from key files rather than having to
be cut+pasted into a form, and the keys are validated using ssh-keygen
before being accepted.
To access the SSH key management, do the following:
1. Click on 'Users' in the menu.
2. Click the 'Search' button.
3. Click the 'Edit' icon in the action column for user 'alex'
(middle icon, a page & pencil)
4. The menu will expand to show the available User options,
click on 'SSH Keys'
5. The SSH keys for user 'alex' will be displayed and can be edited.
Note: last time I mailed about this webapp it caused some confusion; it
has nothing to do with Solaris, it is the application that will be used
to manage user accounts, communities and projects for the
opensolaris.org domain.
